PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording paper which has a sufficient dynamic developed color density where a basic colorless dye and an organic color developer are contained in a thermal color forming layer and developed color images on which are stable even upon adhesion of hair care products or oils or fats thereto by incorporating a specified compound as a sensitizer in a thermal color forming layer. CONSTITUTION:A compound of formula I or II is incorporated as a sensitizer in a thermal color forming layer. In the formulas I and II, X is formula III or IV, each of R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 is hydrogen, a lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, 3-10C cycloalkyl, nitro, cyano, halogen, lower alkylsulfonyl, lower alkylcarbonyl, lower alkoxycarbonyl, lower alkoxycarbonyl, lower alkylcarbonyloxyl or lower alkylsulfonyloxyl, R6 is a lower alkyl, lower alkoxyl, 3-10C cycloalkyl, halogen or lower haloalkyl; n is an integer of 1 to 10, with the proviso that R3, R4 and R5 are not simultaneously hydrogen when n=1 and both of R1 and R2 are hydrogen. |
