<p>Method for the radioactive decontamination of metal surfaces, particularly portions of primary circuits of water-cooled nuclear reactors, characterized in that said surfaces are subjected to the successive steps of oxydizing pretreatment by means of a solution of potassium permanganate MnO4K and nitric acid; rinsing with demineralised water, and reducing treatment in basic medium by means of a solution of an alcaline metal gluconate having the formula HOH2C - CHOH - CHOH - CHOH - CHOH - COOM, wherein M is an alcaline metal selected amongst Na and K, and of soda NaOH.</p> |
