PURPOSE:To provide the titled resin compsn. sufficiently curable and expandable even at low temperature, by blending formic acid, an org. isocyanate compd., an alkali or alkaline earth metal salt of an org. monocarboxylic acid and a polymn. initiator with an unsaturated polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:Formic acid, an org. isocyanate compd. and an alkali and/or alkaline earth metal salt of an org. monocarboxylic acid are blended with an unsaturated polyester resin. Further, a polymn. initiator is added thereto. Said unsaturated polyester resin is a liquid curable resin obtd. by dissolving in a crosslinking polymerizable monomer an unsaturated polyester obtd. by reacting an alpha,beta-unsaturated dibasic carboxylic acid as a polybasic acid component with a polyhydric alcohol component. Pref. org. monocarboxylic acids are naphthenic acid and octylic acid. |
