PURPOSE:To obtain the titled sheet material with high antifogging potential economically and semi-permanently, by immersing a cellulose triacetate plastic sheet material in an aqueous solution containing sodium hydroxide and/or potassium hydroxide and benzyl alcohol. CONSTITUTION:The objective sheet material can be obtained by immersing (A) a cellulose triacetate plastic sheet material for 5-60(pref. 15-40)min in (B) an aqueous solution prepared by incorporting (i) 1,000g of water with (ii) 50-400 (pref. 100-250)g of sodium hydroxide and/or potassium hydroxide and (iii) 10- 100(pref. 30-50)g of benzyl alcohol while keeping said solution of 30-90(pref. 45-75) deg.C. |
