METHOD FOR DOUBLE ARRANGEMENT OF SOFT MOLDED FOOD

PURPOSE:To increase processing capacity while providing a compact installation by inverting two times soft molded foods such as semimanufactured goods of hamburgers and others during conveyance so that they can be arranged in a plurality of rows on the lowermost stage of a wide width conveyer. CONSTITUTION:In operation, semimanufactured goods of soft molded foods A are arranged in two longitudinal rows on a transfer conveyer 1 and conveyed. When these foods A reach the terminal end of the conveyer 1, the foods A are stripped from the surface of the conveyer 1 by a scraper 2 consisting of piano wire or the like stretched along the lower surface of the turning-back portion of the conveyer 1 and transshipped on a rotary roll 3 arranged right below said surface. This rotary roll 3 is displaced transversely by an air cylinder 8 and rotated by a motor 6 so that the foods A are again stripped by a scraper 9 below the roll 3 to be transferred to a wide width conveyer 10. The transverse movement of the rotary roll 3 is properly controlled to form four rows of the foods on the conveyer 10.
