PURPOSE:To prevent drivers on vehicles ahead and/or pedestrians, etc., from having illusions with regard to vehicles behind by using reflection means provided on the rear face to reflect light that goes out from that face of a projecting lens in a projecting portion which is near the outer periphery of the lens and that enters the inside of a light guide. CONSTITUTION:When a lamp 7 is lighted, the reflected light 5... is projected forward by a projection lens 13. When the distribution of the luminous intensity of the light 5... is seen from a section along the optical axis, there is a large amount of light 5'... that goes out from that portion 13a of the lens 13 which is near its outer periphery. The light 5'... allowed to pass through the portion 13a is then allowed to enter the inside of a light guide 19 from the circumferential face 21 of the through hole 20 of the light guide 19 and spread throughout the inside of the light guide 19a by the 'edge light' effect. That part of light 5'... which is reflected by the inner faces of rear face stipples 22... is allowed to go out forward, so that the whole inside of the lens 17 is seen bright. It is thus enabled to prevent drivers on vehicles ahead and/or pedestrians from having illusions with regard to vehicles behind. |
