PURPOSE:To obtain highly dense package by packaging an RAM possible for data readout and write and an ROM with fixed data in one chip. CONSTITUTION:An RAM block 6 and an ROM block 7 are packaged on a chip 5. This RAM block 6 consists of a lot of memory cells 9 being storage elements and has data inputs 10 and data outputs 11. The ROM block 7 consists of a lot of memory cells 13 being storage elements and has address inputs 14 and data outputs 15 in common use for both the RAM and ROM blocks 6 and 7. |
