PURPOSE:To obtain reswellable adhesive paper running well in a printer for forming an image by an electrophotographic system, by coating support paper with a specified amount of a coating liq. consisting of a reswellable synthetic polymer adhesive having >=70 deg.C m.p. and a wet and heat sticking inhibitor. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of reswellable adhesive paper for a printer capable of providing an adhesive property by adding water to paste applied to a paper surface, fine paper is coated with a coating liq. prepred by mixing 100pts.wt. reswellable synthetic polymer ahdesive having >=70 deg.C m.p. such as polyvinyl alcohol with 0.1-20pts.wt. wet and heat sticking inhibitor such as emulsion of oleic acid or with a coating liq. prepared by dispersing 10-500pts.wt. inorg. pigment such as clay or CaCO3 as a wet and heat sticking inhibitor. In order to regulate the heat curling, it is desirable to further add glycerol, urea, NaNO3 or the like to said coat ing liq. by 1-200pts.wt. to 100pts.wt. of the adhesive. Thus, the resulting paper is prevented from sticking to a hot plate, a heat roll, etc. in a printer and from causing the stop of running due to curling. |
