PURPOSE:To enable comfortable airconditioning which allows a man to sleep sound on a mattress in a Japanese style room by providing a blowoff port and a suction port on the ceiling so that air velocity may be within a specified value on the floor surface and a predicted average declared value may be within a specified value as well. CONSTITUTION:A blowoff port 3 and a suction port 4 are installed to a ceiling 2. The blowoff port 3 which is open to the surface of the ceiling 2, is provided in a blowoff box 5 while the suction port 4, which is open to the surface of the ceiling 2, is provided in a suction box 6. The blowoff box 5 and the suction box 6 are communicated with an airconditioner 8 respectively by way of a ventilation passage 7 like a duct. The air in a room 9 is absorbed from the suction port 4 by the drive of the airconditioner 8 so as to carry out airconditioning. The airconditioning air is adapted to be discharged into the room 9 from the blowoff port 3. The blowoff port 3 and the suction port 4 are installed so that the air velocity may be 0.2m/sec or below on the floor surface in a Japanese style bedroom (on the upper surface of a mattress 1a spread on the floor 1) and PMV(predicted mean vote) may satisfy the values within +1. |
