Movable and autonomous spot-welding station consisting of a movable trolley which includes: - a jib support 2 formed by a vertical tube, fitted with a means for adjusting the height and a means for angular pivoting, and with a horizontal arm 9 formed by a hollow section 28 in which a mast 27 slides, the mast supporting a movable and lockable means 34, 35, 36 capable of supporting welding tongs 3 of a model known per se; - a stabilising system connected to the base of the trolley, which can swivel (orient) as a function of the work position of the jib support in order to balance the weight of the welding tongs and of the associated equipment; - a device for controlling the supply of coolant fluid to the welding tongs, either from an external source or from an autonomous refrigeration unit 6 on board the trolley, as well as a compressed-air compressor 5, both known per se; - a device for controlling the electrical power supply to the refrigeration unit, associated with the movement of the abovementioned device for controlling the supply of coolant fluid to the welding tongs. Application, especially in the motor vehicle industry, for the production of prototypes and of short runs. <IMAGE>
