<p>PURPOSE:To compact a clutch cylinder and secure safety by providing a first solenoid valve and a second solenoid valve for opening the clutch cylinder to atmospheric air simultaneously with the cutoff action of the first solenoid valve at an air pipeline for connecting an air tank to the clutch cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The title device is arranged to perform clutch cutoff action by the forward motion of the piston 4 of a cylinder clutch 3, and a first solenoid valve 9 for cutting off air supply after the changeover control of a transmission gear and a second solenoid valve 10 for opening the rear chamber of a clutch cylinder 3 to be communicated with atmospheric air simultaneously with the cutoff action of the first solenoid valve 9 are provided at an air pipeline 8 for connecting an air tank 11 to the rear chamber of the clutch cylinder 3. With this constitution, normal clutch cutoff is made by feeding air into the rear chamber of the clutch cylinder 3 in the opened state of the first solenoid valve 9, and clutch connection is made by cutting off air supply in the closed state of the first solenoid valve 9 and communicating the rear chamber with atmospheric pressure in the opened state of the second solenoid valve 10 so as to generate the backward spring force of a clutch plate built in a clutch 1 itself.</p> |
