PURPOSE:To execute a massage without any control by a user by equipping the subject instrument with the first driving means to move a seat back and forth under an approximately horizontal state and the second driving means to keep the reciprocating direction of the seat in the horizontal state and change the direction. CONSTITUTION:When a back is to be massaged, the back is placed on a seat 21, a head part is placed on one fixing base A, and a leg part is placed on the other fixing base A. On the other hand, a velocity adjusting dial 31 of a controller 29 is previously set so that the seat 21 can move back and forth at a desired velocity, a direction changeover switch 33 is set to either an X direction or a Y direction, and a mode changeover switch 32 is set. When a power 30 is turned on, the seat 21 moves back and forth in the X direction at the set velocity by the driving of a tilting motor 12. Further, when the reciprocating direction of the seat 21 is to be changed, it is enough to switch the direction changeover switch 33 of the controller 29 to the Y direction. Thus, the direction in which the seat 21 massages the back can be changed only by operating the controller 29, and it becomes unnecessary for the user to stand up, etc. |
