PURPOSE:To get rid of delamination of a laminate film and to stabilize the initial characteristics by drawing biaxially a film wherein poly-p-phenylene sulfide is a main component and setting both of the surface luster and the linear density of projections in specified ranges. CONSTITUTION:A compsn. comprising 70wt.% or more poly-p-phenylene sulfide with a content of xylene-extractable low-MW component of 1.5wt.% or lower and a melt viscosity (measured at 300 deg.C under a shear rate of 200sec<-1>) of 500-12,000P is compounded with 0.05-0.8wt.% inert fine particles and made into a film, which is then biaxially drawn and heat-treated at 200 deg.C or higher and below the m.p. to obtain the title film which has a heat shrinkage (at 230 deg.C for 10min) of 0-12% in the longitudinal direction and -5 to 5% in the direction perpendicular thereto, a density of 1.356g/cm<3> or higher and a surface luster (60 deg.C) of 125-200% and on the surface of which projections with a height of 0.05mum or larger are formed at a linear density of projections of 5.0 piece/mm or above. |
