<p>The device forms bags with an opening at only one end from a continuous flat folded film tube. It comprises a set of parallel rollers between which the continuous flat film tube can be conveyed. A gripper is moveable towards and away from the roller gripping the edges of the film with an opening at the end, and is conveyed stretched between the rollers. Between the gripper, mostly turned toward the rollers in use and the rollers themselves, either side of the path covered by the film, mechanisms are mounted for welding and cutting the film. A seperation divides the parallel adjacent sides of the film allowing the gripper jaws to grip the edges of the film. The seperator is a frame between the welding and cutting assemblies round which the film is pulled and sepd.</p> |
