HARMONIZATION OF CELL DIVISION CYCLE OF ACETIC ACID BACTERIUM

摘要

PURPOSE:To contrive the remarkable improvement of the synthetic efficiency of cellulose produced from a carbon source in a culture system with acetic acid bacteria by holding an acetic acid bacterium-culturing medium containing the acetic acid bacteria within a specific temperature range for >= a constant time to harmonize the cell division cycles of the acetic acid bacteria. CONSTITUTION:An acetic acid bacterium medium containing acetic acid bacteria (e.g. Acetobacter xylinium IFO 13693) is held within a temperature range lower than 4 deg.C and being not frozen for >=8hr. The freezing temperature of the medium is usually within a range of -1--10 deg.C.
