<p>PURPOSE:To exchange a cooling fan at the time of rising a minor alarm by providing a remaining time counter in the cooling fan of an information processor, and resetting the counter. CONSTITUTION:The remaining time counter 14 is set to be forty thousand hours in the cooling fan 2 mounted on the lower level-side of the processor before it is fitted, for example, and the remaining time counter 14 is set to be thirty thousand hours in the cooling fan 1 mounted on the upper level-side of the equipment before it is fitted in consideration of the difference of a using environment. When the processor 5 is used in such a state and when a user fails to execute a periodical inspection and when the user does not exchange the cooling fan 1 even it has passed 29,900 hours (about four years), the minor alarm of the cooling fan 1 packaged on the upper level-side of the equipment 5 is displayed in a display part 4. Thus, the cooling fan which has outputted the minor alarm can be exchanged before outputting a major alarm.</p> |
