<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the compost having high usability in a short period of time by a simplified equipment while suppressing the generation of malodors by adding 'NATTO' (fermented soybeans) bacteria, etc., into rectangular fermentation chambers for which air permeable sheets are used on the base and both the right and left side faces and depositing sufficiently kneaded org. raw materials therein. CONSTITUTION:The bases of the rectangular fermentation chambers a, a... are formed by laying the air permeable sheets 3 apart the ground surface 1 by means of supporting members 2, 2'. The side walls (a) or partition walls (b) of the chambers a, a... are formed by extending the air permeable sheets 3' to reinforcing members 9 or extending two sheets 3' of the air permeable sheets 3' on both sides of the reinforcing member 9' via vent paths 10 provided the opposite surfaces. The 'NATTO' bacteria or 'NATTO' bacterium propagation assisting materials are added to the chambers a, a... and the org. raw materials which are sufficiently kneaded by a kneading machine are held deposited therein. The air flows freely in the bases and both the right and left side faces of the raw materials and since the excessive drying of the materials is prevented, the fermentation progresses rapidly without requiring the force feeding of the air to the inside of the chambers or without requiring agitating and turning over of the raw materials.</p> |
