PURPOSE:To reduce an overhead of software, by generating a start signal of a measuring microprogram, whenever execution of a macro-instruction is completed, etc. in a measurement controlling circuit, in accordance with a continuous mode and a sampling mode designated by a mode setting instruction. CONSTITUTION:A measurement controlling circuit 10 outputs measurement start signal S2 to a circuit 12 by a suitable timing, in accordance with a measuring mode designated by a signal 51. When this signal S2 is received, the circuit 12 changes an address to be set to a counter 16, to an address of a measuring microprogram from an address of a microprogram running before that time, by which read-out of a corresponding program is started from a control storage device 14, and operation of a measuring routine is started. As a result, information designated by this program is collected, and is stored in an address of a designated main storage. In this regard, a measuring mode, a measuring item, a store address, etc. are designated by a mode setting instruction generated by software. |
