IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO MANUFACTURE OF RICE STRAW SILAGE

There is disclosed the method of forming rice straw silage comprising the steps of mixing urea granulate material to moist rice straw after cutting or during harvesting into a bale, and tightly wrapping the mixture in self adhesive plastic film to hermetically seal the mixture to allow chemical reaction within the package, to thereby increase protein/starch content for use as an animal food of improved digestability and goodness.
