The first diagonal of a strain gauge bridge (1) is connected to a supply voltage and the second to an amplifier (2), flip-flop and relay (5). The amplifier output supplies three comparators (8,9,1O) connected to the first (3) and a second (4) flip-flop. - A counter diode (7) is connected in parallel with the relay (5). The first flip-flop is connected via an integrator, a resistor and a second counter diode with the base of a transistor. The base is connected to the amplifier (2) via a third counter diode and a zener diode.
