PURPOSE:To prevent the leak of water from a water reservoir and also of polluted water from a final waste treatment plant by a method in which a water and gas-permeable layer is laid on a sloped ground by using a mixture with pores and then a bitumen is sprayed on the water and gas-permeable layer to form a water-impermeable layer. CONSTITUTION:The surface of ground 1 is leveled, the roots of plants are removed, a mixture with pores, e.g., asphalt concrete with coarse aggregate, porous cement concrete, etc., is laid on the sloped ground 1 to form a water and gas- permeable layer 2, and then asphalt is sprayed or spread on the layer 2 to form a water-impermeable layer 5. Also, when the slope of the ground 1 is steep, a skeletal structure 3 is provided in the intermediate or surface layer of the layer 2 and plural struts 4 to fix the skeletal structure 3 are buried at proper intervals in the ground 1. |
