A mixed culture of Bacillus subtilis DSM 4,671 and Pseudomonas stutzeri DSM 5,268 is pref. used for the microbial cleavage and degradation of saponifiable cpds. ADVANTAGE - Fat deposits are continuously cleaved and degraded preventing blockages in waste water pipes and overloading of fat separation devices.
