PURPOSE:To perform pluritime transfer by forming the coating layer of heat- melting ink applied to a base material from aggregate of fine cracks. CONSTITUTION:A large number of cracks are confirmed in the surface of the heat-meltable ink 101 applied to a base material 102. There is no special limit in the base material coated with the heat-meltable ink if a material subjected to a usual thermal transfer base material composed of polyethylene terephthalate, polyimide, aromatic polyamide, aliphatic polyamide, polyether sulfone, condenser paper or the like is used. No special limit is also necessary with respect to the size and shape of cracks. The cracks are controlled according to a coating condition. By this method, the passing-through of the heat- meltable ink becomes well at the time of transfer and pluritime transfer becomes possible. |
