PURPOSE:To reduce the influence of a reflected light with a low crosstalk by connecting a light emitting element, a photodetector of each LSI chip via an optical guide in which a beam splitter is inserted midway. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element and a photodetector are provided in each LSI chip, an optical guide 13 has a closed loop part (a) and branches (b), (c) from there externally, and beam splitters 121-124 are provided at the respective branches. Optical signals from the light emitting elements 101,..., of certain LSI chips 41,... are propagated in the optical guide, and sent to the photodetectors of all the LSI chips including own LSI chip through the beam splitters 121,... The beam splitter is composed, for example, of a half mirror, a slit, a multilayer film, etc. When its incident angle of a light signal propagated in the optical guide is set to 45 deg., the transmitted light and the reflected light divided by the beam splitter are propagated through the optical guide, and no reflection returning light occurs at the own side. Accordingly, instability due to the reflection returning light of the light emitting element does not occur. |
