PURPOSE:To easily and quickly exchange a grindstone without balancing work, by providing coincidence signs in prescribed positions on a clamping flange and a sleeve for which balancing work is effected without mounting the grindstone and by causing the signs to coincide with each other in exchangeing the grindstone. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 10 is secured on a grindstone shaft 11. A clamping flange 13 is secured on the sleeve 10 with a grindstone 20 and a spacer ring 21 interposed. A counterbalance 16 is placed in a groove 15 on a side of the sleeve 10. Coincidence signs M1, M2 are provided on the sleeve 10 and the clamping flange 13. After that, the sleeve 10 is rotated together with th shaft 11. When the sign M1 is oriented upwards, the rotation of the sleeve 10 and the shaft 11 is stopped and the signs M1, M2 are made coincident with each other. The flange 13 is then secured so that it is removed from the shaft 11 as the flange remains coupled to the sleeve 10. After that, balancing work is effected. After the grindstone 20 is mounted, the signs M1, M2 are made coincident with each other again and the sleeve 10 and the flange 13 are fitted. |
