PURPOSE:To efficiently manufacture a roll having minute roughness pattern by forming acid corrosion resistant resin film including light absorbing agent on a rolling roll surface, drawing a pattern on this film with Q switched YAG laser and executing etching treatment. CONSTITUTION:The rolling roll 1 is rotated and a spray gun 6 is shifted to the roll axial direction 34 and the corrosion resistant resin liquid mixing the light absorbing agent is sprayed on the roll surface to form the film 28 having 1-10mu thickness. Successively, a laser irradiating head 10 is shifted in the axial direction 34 while rotating the roll 1, and pulse laser beam 29 is converged with a lens 30 on the roll surface and irradiates, and the thin film 28 at the minute part is evaporated to expose a part of the roll surface and the spiral pattern is formed around the roll 1 surface. Further, the spray gun 11 is shifted in the axial direction 34 and the etching liquid 31 is sprayed and only a part irradiated with the laser beam 29 is etched to form crater 32. By this method, the rolling roll 1 having various kinds of minute roughness patterns on the surface is efficiently obtd. at a low cost, and the steel strip having high image clarity can be manufactured. |
