PURPOSE:To manufacture an oriented molding superior in strength, heat-resistant dimensional stability, film making properties and stretchability even if heat treatment is performed under mild condition, by a method wherein a styrene polymer possessing mainly syndiotactic structure is contained at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:An oriented molding is comprised of a polyarylene resin composition containing a styrene polymer possessing mainly syndiotactic structure at the rate of less than 30wt.%. This oriented molding is superior in heat resistance, moldability and stretchability further, hardly has a dimensional change up to 220 deg.C and possesses high dependence of melt viscosity on a shear rate. Moreover, even a matter heat-treated under a mild condition the title product is superior in those performances and productivity is high. |
