PURPOSE:To prevent a humidity sensor from contamination and improve the accuracy of humidity detection in the titled device by a method wherein the sensor is cleaned after the steam inside of a heating chamber is forcedly discharged at the end of cooking, in a high-frequency heating device provided with the humidity sensor with cleaning means. CONSTITUTION:At the end of cooking, a cooling fan 12 is operated after the elapse of certain time, the steam which contains impurity is discharged, then a humidity detector 17 is cleaned. Thereby, the characteristic of a detecting element 17-a can be maintained at stable condition over long duration and can be prevented from mis-operation, accordingly, the accuracy of humidity detection can be improved. |
