PURPOSE:To permit the smooth suction by connecting a carburetor onto an engine so that the suction side is set higher than the horizontal line and connecting the carburetor and an air cleaner arranged between the right and left main pipes, through a duct extending in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:A car body frame 2 suspends an engine 10, and a carburetor 21 is connected with the front side of the engine, and an exhaust pipe is connected with the rear part of the engine. The carburetor 21 and an air cleaner 28 arranged between the right and left main pipes are connected through the ducts 29 which are branched into the right and left parts and extend in the vertical direction and a surge tank 31 formed at the lower edge. The axis line L of the carburetor 21 is set higher forwardly for the horizontal line L', and the stream of air supplied from the duct 29 forms an acute angle with the suction direction, and a carburetor connection part of the front wall 31a of the surge tank 31 projects towards the center of a suction port 11b, i.e., along the axis line L, and the top edge of the projection part 31b is inserted into the suction port 21b. Thus, the suction into the carburetor is made smooth, and the responsiveness of the engine can be improved. |
