PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-functional instant salad instantly reconstitutable with hot water of <=100 deg.C to an eatable state by mixing thin pieces of dried vegetable flakes with ingredients having uniform size and properly selected from dried vegetables, seasonings, spices and nutrients and putting the mixture into a container having a proper shape. CONSTITUTION:The thin pieces of dried vegetables are mashed potato, pumpkin rich in vitamin A, sweet potato flakes, etc. The dried vegetables are those subjected to the conventional treatment such as vacuum drying or freeze drying to enable the long-term preservation and having good quality and reconstitution performance. The dried vegetable pieces are properly mixed with seasonings, spices or nutrients and the mixture is charged into a container having a proper shape. The product can be reconstituted even with hot water stored in a conventional home thermos and having a temperature lowered to about 70-80 deg.C after the lapse of considerable period in the thermos. |
