PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of an open/close mechanism on a printer side, and to reduce the number of parts by constituting the titled cassette so that if only either of the recording paper cover or the transfer paper cover is opened or closed, the other can be opened or closed. CONSTITUTION:When a thermal transfer printer cassette is fitted to a printer device, a pin for opening the recording paper cover 34 which has been provided on the printer device side moves rearward passing through a guide groove formed in the front lower surface of the lower half, and pushes the recording paper cover 34 rearward, then a recording paper opening 32 is formed on the bottom surface of the lower half. Next, by moving the recording paper cover 34 rearward, an engaging pin 44 is depressed along the slope of a cam groove 46 to turn an arm 42 downward making the center of a shaft 18b, and by this turning action of the arm 42, a transfer paper cover 18 is turned upward, and a transfer paper opening 54 is formed on the front side of the transfer paper housing part. |
