PURPOSE:To equalize the intensity of each piece of luminous flux by detecting the angle of rotation of a rotary mirror by an encoder and controlling the output of a light source with its detection signal. CONSTITUTION:Collimated light 102 which is made incident on a diffraction grating 101 is diffracted at an angle which is different with order. In this case, the angle of rotation of the rotary mirror is detected by the encoder and controlled with its detection signal as a method which controls the output of the light source so that the intensity of the diffracted light of (m)th order is constant. Consequently, the multibeam laser beam scanner which has uniform intensity can be manufactured extremely easily. |
