PURPOSE:To improve a workability for coloring by making a color specification possible by means of designating one point on a display screen. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted so that the image data of an original by a layout scanner may be incorporated in a computer 11 through a disk drive and a floppy disk or not through the disk drive and the floppy disk. And, in a point in image recognizing means 31, for example, the value of coordinate of a position P2 is recognized and the value of the coordinate is given to an image color recognizing means 26 based on a signal from an inputting device 13, and in the means 26, the image element in the image data corresponding to the value is retrieved and the color given to the image element is kept to be recognized. Therefore, when the one point P2 in an area A1 is designated, it is possible that the color of an area A2 becomes the same color as the colored area A1. Besides that, it is desirable that a function for automatically performing the optimum coloring based on the color of a neighboring image element is added. |
