摘要 In a known wheel suspension a self-aligning torque independent of the axle parameters is produced by a spring element, which is directly supported on the wheel carrier. This has the disadvantage that a part of the spring force generated by the spring element acts as lateral force on the wheel, which has an unfavourable influence on the steering behaviour and the force required for steering. The new wheel suspension is intended to avoid these disadvantages. The said aim is achieved in that the spring element (40) is supported at its one end (41) by way of an articulation (44) on a transverse link element (10; 20), the articulation (44) lying outside a swivel axis (82) passing through the inner and outer joint (26, 36; 24, 34) of the transverse link element (10, 20). At the same time the joints (26, 36; 24, 34) are designed so that in the steering process the transverse link element (10; 20) rotates about the swivel axis (82), as a result of which the articulation (44) moves on a circular path and in so doing raises the vehicle by way of the spring element. The wheel suspension can be used for double-wishbone axles. <IMAGE>
