PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight elastic graphite molded body having superior elasticity by adding a resin binder to elastic graphite particles as aggregate, mixing then to stick the binder to the surfaces of the particles and molding the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A resin binder dispersed in a liq. is added to elastic graphite particles and they are well mixed or kneaded. At this time, a proper amt. of water may be added so that the resulting mixture has the state of soft rice cake. The mixture is charged into a prescribed molding tool and molded by press molding or other method. Powder obtd. by drying the mixture may be molded. A lightweight elastic graphite molded body having superior elasticity can be obtd. |
