PURPOSE: To avoid that a chuck jaw is tightened between a tightening screw part and a jaw guide part by providing on the jaw guide part a stopper to limit the axial movement of an impulse drill spindle relative to the jaw guide part within a play in the axial direction of the tightening screw part. CONSTITUTION: A jaw guide part 4 to guide a chuck jaw 2 in an inclined manner relative to the chuck axis 3 and a tightening screw part 6 to be rotationally connected and driven by an impulse drill spindle 1 are friction-connected to each other in the axial direction and supported by each other. A stopper 16 to limit the axial movement of the impulse drill spindle 1 relative to the jaw guide part 4 in a play in the axial direction of the tightening screw part 6 is provided on the jaw guide part 4. The impulse is propagated directly to the chuck jaw through the jar guide part 4, and the impulse on the tightening screw part 6 and its tightening screw 5 is reduced to an extremely small value, and the tightening screw 5 is not fixed. The drill chuck can be easily loosened from the re-tightened condition. |
