PRINTING INK COMPOSITION FOR HEAT-SHRINKABLE POLYSTYRENE FILM, PRINTED MATTER PRINTED THEREWITH FOR LABEL USE, AND PET CONTAINER WITH LABEL MADE BY THERMALLY SHRINKING THE PRINTED MATTER

摘要

PURPOSE:To prepare a printing ink compsn. which has a sufficient printability without degrading a low-temp shrinkable monoaxially stretched polystyrene film when applied to the film by compounding a pigment, a specific resin mixture and an org. solvent mainly comprising 1-4C lower alcohol. CONSTITUTION:Isobutyl methacrylate and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate are mixed, polymerized by solution polymerization to produce an acrylic resin with an MW of 30000-100000 and a hydroxyl value of 20-110. 50-95wt.% resulting acrylic resin, 5-25wt.% cellulose resin, and 0-45wt.% resin compatible with said two resins are mixed. The resulting resin mixture is compounded with an org. solven contg. atleast 50wt.% of 1-4C lower alcohol (e.g. methyl alcohol) and a pigment (e.g. phthalocyanine pigment) to produce a printing ink compsn. for a heat-shrinkable polystyrene film.
