PURPOSE:To perform copying in the case that it is not a misoperation even if a document is not placed by displaying warning lest the copying should be started when the document and the opening of a document cover are not detected in a state where the copying is designated after completing the copying in an automatic document feeding mode and starting the copying at the time of designating the copying again. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 310 detects the conveyance of the document to the document cover 301. A sensor 311 detects the ejection of the document to an ejection tray 304. By opening the document cover 301 and placing the document on a document glass plate 11, a sensor SE3 in a main body 1 detects that the document cover 301 is closed and the operation in the automatic document feeding mode becomes possible. When the document and the opening of the document cover 301 are not detected in the state where the copying is designated after completing the copying in the automatic document feeding mode, the warning is displayed least the copying should be started and the copying is started at the time of designating the copying again. Thus, the copying action is started in the case that it is not the misoperation in a state where the document is not set. |
