PURPOSE: To automatically select desiring types of electric wires among a plurality of various types of usable electric wires by moving second ends of electric wire segments to a connector insertion part and inserting the second ends and the second terminals attached to the second ends into selected hollow parts in a selected connector housing. CONSTITUTION: This wire harness manufacturing method comprises processes of selecting one electric wire 30 out of a plurality of electric wires 24, and sending the selected electric wire 30. Then, a terminal is attached to an electric wire end, the supplied electric wire 30 is cut to form a segment in a prescribed length, and another terminal is attached to the cut end of the resultant segment. The electric end having the latter terminal is sent to a connector laying region 68 and inserted into a selected hollow part 16 of a selected connector housing. Consequently, respective electric wire can be automatically selected from a plurality of usable electric wires 24. |
