Process for preparing a herbicidal composition comprising a herbicide, a humectant and a silicone surfactant

Process for the preparation of an improved herbicidal composition characterized essentially by the mixing of a herbicidally effective quantity of an agriculturally acceptable herbicide, a humectant and a silicone surfactant optionally with inert adjuvants and water. The concentration of the active ingredient of the composition is in the range from approximately 2 to approximately 70% by weight. Also described is a method for the use of such a composition for killing and controlling weeds.
