PURPOSE:To take a measurement without any error without being affected by temperature at the time of the measuring operation by storing a storage device previously with the quantity of deviation of a measured value from a real value due to temperature variation as to each temperature value, and correcting the measured value by using the quantity. CONSTITUTION:The potential difference between two points C and D of a converting device 2 composed of one strain gauge 2a is adjusted to zero when no body to be measured is mounted on a load meter 1. When a body to be measured is mounted on, the strain gauge 2 is strained in proportion to its weight and the potential difference which is proportional to the quantity of the strain is generated between the points C and D. This potential difference is led to a CPU 12 through an amplifier 9 and an A/D converter 10 as a digital value which is proportional to the weight of the body to be measured. The temperature at the time of the measuring operation, on the other hand, is inputted to the CPU 12 from a temperature measuring instrument 4 through an A/D converter 10 and the quantity of the deviation of the measured value corresponding to the temperature is read by the CPU 12 out of the storage device 3 to correct the measured value with the read value, thereby displaying the result on a liquid crystal display board 18. |
