PURPOSE:To enhance the extent of safety at time of boarding by driving and controlling a driving means, making a step lamp retractable to or from a lamp storage recess of a car body, by means of a door switch, while making it controllable for driving even by means of remote operation through infrared rays out of an infrared emitter. CONSTITUTION:When a door is opened at time of alighting, a door switch 32 is turned to ON, and a flip-flop is set by a pulse signal being outputted out of an edge trimmer one-short at a control logical circuit 44, whereby a drive motor 24 is driven via a drive circuit 45. With this motor drive, a lens case 15 is projected from an opening 14 of a body 13, and simultaneously with this projection, an illuminant 8 is lighted and thereby a downward road surface at a doorway 2 is illuminated. On the other hand, when a driver, coming nearer to a car, directs an infrared emitter 34 to a light receiver 30 and operates a control button 35, a signal is inputted into the control logical circuit 44 via a code decoder 43, and likewise the lens case 15 is projected, while the illuminant 8 comes to be lighted in consequence. |
