摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To easily and accurately measure the temperature of the induction- heated part of metal which is heated by measuring a ultrasonic wave propagation time, finding the acoustic velocity distribution in the heated part, and further finding the temperature distribution. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave transmitting element array 13 and an ultrasonic wave receiving element array 14 are arranged at unheated parts 12B and 12C on both sides of the induction-heated part 12A of a steel pipe 12 which is heated by an induction heating device 11. Then the ultrasonic wave propagation time from the ultrasonic wave transmission time of each transmitting element (i) to the reception time of each receiving element (j) is measured. Consequently, the acoustic velocity distribution in the heated part 12A is found and further the temperature distribution in the heating part 12A is found according to the correlation between the acoustic velocity and temperature which is prepared.</p>
