A description is given of laminated polarisers consisting of a polarising core layer and adhesion layers which are provided on one side or on both sides and which can receive a respective transparent covering layer, the polariser being a polyacetylene-containing polymer product, the matrix of which is a polymer including polar groups and the adhesion layers employed include not only conventional adhesion agents such as epoxy resins or acrylic polymers but also especially thermoplastic polyurethane-polyureas of a predominantly linear molecular structure with urethane and urea segments bound exclusively aliphatically or cycloaliphatically.
