A multi-layer polyamide moulded article comprising a fillerreinforced polyamide layer coverd on at least one side with a nonreinforced polyamide layer is characterised in that (a) the polyamide is substantially built up of tetramethyleneadipamide units, (b) the filler is non-fibrous and is pref. chosen from powdery, spherical or plate-shaped particles. Prods. contg. the above multi-layer polyamide moulded article are also claimed. This multi-layer moulded article can be obtd. in a simple conventional manner and meets the requirements of rigidity and smoothness of surface as known from the state of the art, but also has an improved dimensional stability while retaining impact resistance, a higher temp. reistance and an improved adhesion for metal layers or paints.
