PURPOSE: To carry out offset printing with high color saturation to plastic sheets for illuminated displays by repeatedly applying a print ink to a blanket, forming images of a thick layer of the ink rising on the blanket, removing moisture present on the blanket and printing to a paper of a type not absorbing moisture. CONSTITUTION: Any moisture is completely removed immediately after each transfer of ink to a blanket from a plate. Preferably a heating air is blown to the blanket. In the case of multicolor printing, ink is repeatedly applied to each blanket used for each color ink and the moisture is removed from the blanket. Each single printing is continuously carried out to achieve a combination printing for each ink. Even when a sheet is formed of hard polyvinyl chloride or the like material, the thick ink layer enables superior multicolor printing, with securing a color contrast necessary for illuminated displays. |
