PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent heat resistance, melt flow characteristics, etc. and suitable for use in the production of automobile engine parts, etc., by blending both a glycidyl ester compd. and a glycidyl ether compd. with a linear satd. polyester. CONSTITUTION:0.01-5pts.wt. at least one glycidyl ester compd. of formulaI (wherein R is an n-valent hydrocarbon group; n is an integer of 1 or above) such as glycidyl benzoate or glycidyl stearate, and 0.01-5pts.wt. at least one glycidyl ether compd. of formula II (wherein R' is an n'-valent hydrocarbon group; n' is an integer of 1 or above) such as phenyl glycidyl ether or 0-phenylphenyl glycidyl ether are both blended with 100pts.wt. linear satd. polyester resin to obtain the desired thermoplastic polyester compsn. |
