<p>PURPOSE: To shorten a starting up time by using a voltage value of the rotating speed of a head obtained by a specified equation based on the voltage value of the tilt angle of the head in the running direction of a tape and the relative speed of the head to the tape at the time of highspeed searching. CONSTITUTION: In a reproducing device of a magnetic tape for servo controlling the rotating speed of a head drum provided with a head for scanning a tape track so as to be inclined by a fixed tilt angleθin the running direction of a tape, the voltage value VR of a constant relative speed of the head to the tape at the time of highspeed searching, a cosine value (cosθ) and a sine value (sinθ) of the tilt angleθare set in advance and the voltage value VH of the rotating speed of the head is calculated by the relation I. Consequently, the starting up time at the time of transition to high-speed search is shortened.</p> |
