Computer tomograph using periodical focus deflecting.

In a computer tomograph with periodic deflection of the focus during the formation of the measurement value, the electron beam of the X-ray tube is to be inductively deflected in an interference-proof manner. The coil (18) for the focus deflection is arranged in one diagonal of a switch bridge which is constructed of four electronic power switches (19 to 22) and is located with its other diagonal across a direct-voltage source. The power switches (19 to 22) are connected to four synchronised driving stages (23 to 26) for alternately switching-on and switching-off in each case two mutually diagonally opposite power switches (19, 22; 20, 21). The arrangement is applied in a computer tomograph with periodically deflected focus.
