<p>PURPOSE:To lock a load at plural points with only a single electromagnet by combining rotatable lever providing the inclined surface and an engaging member. CONSTITUTION:A yoke 1 is provided with an excitation coil 3 at the one leg and a rotatable lever 5 at the end of other leg, respectively. This lever 5 closes the magnetic open end of yoke 1 with a spring 11. The lever 5 is adjacently provided with a cut-away part having the inclined surfaces 6a, 6b. Meanwhile, the abutting pin 7a working as the engaging member is implanted to a member 7 of the load 8 which is energized by the spring 8a. When the load 8 moves in the direction of arrow C against the spring 8a and the power is supplied to the coil 3, the pin 7a presses the inclined surface 6a or 6b and locks the load 8. When supply of power is suspended, locking is restored and the load 8 returns to the initial position owing to the spring 8a. Thereby, the load can be locked at plural positions with only a single electromagnet.</p> |
